To Our Valued Customers,
This past year has brought several unexpected difficulties. Though the COVID-19 virus and its variants have disrupted our daily lives and changed the way we live and work, D&L has worked to ensure there is no disruption to the top-notch service we provide as we continue to experience historic supply chain issues and staffing shortages, along with an ongoing pandemic.
Garage Door Repair & Service Pricing Update.
The recent changes to national supply chains have brought unforeseen cost increases to many of the high-quality parts we use to keep every garage door running at peak efficiency.
While we have worked through the previous year and some months to absorb these costs with no changes to the repair charges or level of garage door service we provide, we at D&L have deemed it necessary to adjust our rates to stay afloat and keep pace with the many challenges in acquiring raw materials along with unprecedented increases in costs across all products.
The continued labor challenges, chip shortage for garage door openers, very unstable steel cost, as well as the aluminum and lumber markets, and freight and shipping costs have resulted in multiple double-digit increases from all the garage door manufacturers in the industry such as LiftMaster, Linear, Wayne Dalton, Northwest Door, Amarr, Doorlink, Hass Door, Martin Door, & SSC, our garage door spring manufacturer.
After much deliberation, we must, unfortunately, implement a 15% increase to our parts and services, effective Sept 1, 2021.
This was a very tough decision, and we understand how it affects our customers. Therefore, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Though these costs have increased, D&L will still provide you with the outstanding customer service & lightning-fast response times that you’ve come to expect.
As always, we are available to help with any of your garage door & garage door operator needs.
