Terms & Conditions of Service
Effective Date: June 1, 2024 
This agreement covers every customer to provide greater transparency and establish the terms of service between our company and our community. We, D&L Garage Doors (“we,” “us,” “our”), are entering into this agreement with you, the customer (“you”).
Services and Recommendations
- You can approve or deny any recommended services and seek a second opinion.
- We are not responsible for charges incurred from estimates or work by unauthorized individuals.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of authorized work unless arranged otherwise.
- Our standard minimum service charge is $89.00, subject to change without notice.
Warranty and Liability
- Warranties cover parts that fail through regular use approved by the manufacturer.
- Acts of God, collisions, negligence, intentional damage, or lack of maintenance are not covered.
- Labor for on-site repairs is covered for 30 days; a service call fee of $89.00 applies afterward.
Warranty Limitations
- Warranties are non-transferable and void if unauthorized work is performed.
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for new door purchases. Cancellations within three business days incur a 25% restocking fee.
- Custom door orders are non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of order.
- We are not liable for damages or costs from door malfunctions after our technician’s inspection.
- Liability releases pertain to structural, physical, or property damage within the customer’s property.
- D&L Garage Doors is not liable for any misalignments and/or misuse that may occur; these are the user’s responsibility.
Manufacturer Warranties
- We do not directly warranty any operators sold. Manufacturer warranties apply, and we may charge a service call fee to facilitate issues.
Service and Liability
- We are not liable for damages resulting from not following technician recommendations.
- There is no guarantee or warranty on strained/worn operators due to improper balance.
- A mandatory minimum service fee of $89.00 applies for all appointments.
Payment and Fees
- Returned checks incur a $35.00 fee. Payment must then be made via cashier’s check or money order.
- Customers are responsible for all collection fees, court costs, and attorney’s fees in the event of default.
Use License
- You are granted permission to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on D&L Garage Doors’ website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is not a title transfer but a license grant.
Prohibited Actions
- Copying or modifying materials
- Using materials for public display (commercial or non-commercial)
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or pirate any software on the website
- Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations
- Transferring materials to another person or “mirroring” materials on any other server
- This permission will be rescinded if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by D&L Garage Doors at any time. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded materials in electronic or printed format.
Disclaimer
D&L Garage Doors’ website materials are provided “as is.” D&L Garage Doors makes no warranties, express or implied, and disclaims all other warranties, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
- D&L Garage Doors does not warrant the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of using materials on its website.
Limitations of Liability
- D&L Garage Doors or its suppliers are not liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit or due to business interruption) arising from the use or inability to use the materials on D&L Garage Doors’ website, even if D&L Garage Doors or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Amendments and Errata
The materials on D&L Garage Doors’ website may include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. D&L Garage Doors does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current.

- A lien may be claimed for all materials, equipment, labor, and services furnished after a date that is eight days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as defined in ORS 187.010 & RCW 60.04.031 before this notice was delivered to you. THIS IS NOT A LIEN. It is a notice sent to you for your protection in compliance with state and local construction lien laws. If you have questions about this notice, feel free to contact us.
Special Offers and Coupons Terms & Conditions
- All offers and coupons are for first-time customers only.
- Coupons must be presented when the technician arrives before any work begins.
- Coupons cannot be applied toward estimates or trip charges (if applicable).
- Limit one coupon per household (unless noted otherwise).
- Coupons and special offers are only available during weekdays and regular business hours within our standard service area.
- Unless otherwise noted, coupons cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or coupons.
- Coupons are subject to expiration dates and availability.
- Coupons are only available for residential garage doors up to 8 feet tall.
- The customer must mention the offer at the time of booking.
- D&L Garage Doors reserves the right to modify or cancel any offer.
- The Summer Special offer cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
- All coupons and special offers are valid through December 31, 2024.
Summer Special Terms & Conditions
- Offer valid until September 1, 2024.
- Limited to stock availability.
- Prices include standard installation only; additional charges may apply for custom or non-standard installations.
- It cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
- Free remote and keypad are included while supplies last.
- Sales tax is not included in the advertised price and will be added to the final cost.
- Offer valid for residential customers only.
- D&L Garage Doors reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.
Estimate Terms & Conditions

- Doors, hardware, and services provided by D&L Garage Doors remain in our possession until paid in full.
Pricing and Fees
Important Pricing Information:
- A Minimum fee of $89.00 plus tax applies for service visits, which include inspection charges. This fee can be credited towards any on-site repair or service performed.
- For services in extended areas, after-hours, or emergency assistance, a fee of $289 plus tax will be charged.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of authorized work unless arranged otherwise.
For new doors, a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Full payment is required for custom doors and parts.
Ordering and Lead Time
- Non-stock items may have a lead time of 4-8 weeks. Delays due to material shortages may occur.
Orders canceled within two weeks of the scheduled ship date or after production starts incur a 35% cancellation fee.
All Sales Final
- All sales are final and must be entirely paid upon delivery or installation.
Delays
- We are not responsible for delays due to part shortages. We will offer a refund of the deposit if a part is unavailable.
Changes
- Estimates are approximations. Deviations may occur due to unexpected complications.
Storage Fees
- A $89 fee per door will be added if materials are not picked up within 30 days. A 4% interest applies after 60 days.
Damage to Materials
- We are not responsible for damage to materials in storage.
Right of Refusal
- We reserve the right to refuse orders not picked up within 60 days and charge storage fees, interest, and differences in sales.
New Garage Door Installations
How to Prepare Your Space: Clearing is the Way for Success!
Please clear your garage before our scheduled service call to facilitate a smooth installation process. Create ample space by removing items from the front to the back of the motor (approximately 16ft) and on both sides of the garage where the track will be installed. It is crucial to cancel or reschedule any service calls with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Failure to sufficiently clear the garage may result in an additional $289 minimum trip fee charge to cover costs incurred by our team for rescheduling visits.
